Capstone seminar for the Environment, Sustainability, and Policy major. Students will investigate a sustainability-related topic employing perspectives from the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Topic announced each time offered.
Prereq: (ECN 101 or ENG 140 or GEO 103 or WRT 115) AND (EAR 105 or EAR 203 or BIO 123 or GEO 155 or GEO 215)  
ESP 415  Climate and the Humanities  (3 Credits)

Explore climate change through humanities perspectives. Examine history, meaning, emotion, and politics related to global warming. Engage with topics such as environmental dystopias and utopias, climate fiction and literary nonfiction, and creative responses to the Anthropocene. Foster critical thinking skills about climate change.
