Examine definitions and sources of law and organization of judicial system. Representative substantive areas of law covered to develop case analysis, legal thinking, and writing. Codes of professional ethics for lawyers and non-lawyers also explored.
LGL 210  Legal Research and Writing  (3 Credits)

An overview of the methods of legal research and the legal writing process. Emphasis will be placed on the process of creating a legal memorandum, including researching case law, writing legal citations, and briefing cases for legal analysis.
