Description

The Minor in Artificial Intelligence Science and Engineering (ASE Minor)  educates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professionals in rigorous fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI) rooted in the computational disciplines.  Graduates will possess key knowledge in AI enabling the application of AI techniques to other disciplines and/or preparation for further study in the field.

1. Use foundational computational principles such as programming, discrete mathematics, and data structures to assist in the creation of artificial intelligence systems.
2. Employ machine learning methodology and tools to solve artificial intelligence problems.
3. Understand and evaluate various artificial intelligence approaches when solving an artificial intelligence problem.
