Program Description
Independent creators produce and distribute content over social platforms and participate in a multibillion-dollar global economy. Students in this minor will explore the creative and business opportunities presented by the growing creator economy. Coursework includes content creation, entrepreneurship, digital branding, analytics, and social media. This interdisciplinary minor includes elective coursework from Falk, Newhouse, and Whitman.
Audience
Syracuse University undergraduates
Entrance Requirements
Students must pass either MMI 211 Introduction to the Creator Economy or SOM 277 Business Toolkit for Creators before declaring the minor.
