Description
Students pursuing programs in other areas of study may choose a minor in nutrition. The minor program requires the completion of 18 credits, of which a minimum of 12 credits must be at the 300 level or above.
Admission
To be admitted to the program, students must:
- Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0
- Complete NSD 225 Nutrition in Health
- Meet with the minor coordinator to complete the declaration of minor form
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Use current information technologies to locate, interpret, evaluate and use professional literature to make ethical evidence-based practice decisions and apply evidence-based guidelines and protocols.
- Produce effective and professional oral and written communication and documentation.
