To declare a social justice minor:

1. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
2. Submit Declaration of Minor form to the social justice minor program coordinator, their faculty advisors, and the dean’s office of their home colleges.
3. Submit a Social Justice Minor Interest form to the SWK office coordinator.
4. A limit of 3 transfer credits may be applied with permission.

Student Learning Outcomes

1. Demonstrate knowledge of the importance of ethical and professional behavior in engaging with diverse groups of people while recognizing cultural and individual differences. (CSWE B-1)
2. Demonstrate knowledge regarding diversity, power, and oppression. (CSWE B-2)
3. Demonstrate an understanding about advancing human rights and social, economic, and environmental justice. CSWE B-3)
