Project Management Fundamentals prepares participants for hands-on, real world project management activities. Participants will acquire knowledge necessary for applying project management skills and tasks related to planning, scheduling, budgeting, communications, risk management and project closure.

This course will outline the steps taken to complete the planning process and to create the components of the project management plan that will serve as the guide to project execution.

Provides an understanding of how new Agile principles and practices are changing the landscape of project management. PPM 646  Global Projects and Virtual Project Management  (3 Credits)

This course examines approaches to effectively manage large-scale projects which are primarily comprised of virtual teams that have the additional challenges of being multi-cultural, overcoming language barriers, and collaborating across different time zones.

PPM 711  Capstone in Project Management  (3 Credits)

Making use of case study examples, students will develop a comprehensive project management plan demonstrating expertise in the (10) knowledge areas across the (5) phases of the project lifecycle.
