¿Computing Culture¿ grounds the digital humanities integrated learning major by providing students with an overview of debates, skills, and approaches central to a critical, humanistic engagement with digital technology and culture.

Offered only in Beijing. Examination of the impact of globalization and development on China's culturally diverse peoples, natural environment and animal habitats through onsite visits to tribal villages, water projects and nature preserves in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces in Southwest China.

This course partners with SU Art Museum's PAL Project to bring University students into local public schools and community centers to offer training in visual rhetoric and multimodal composition, including photography and writing, and to work with youth to develop projects that explore issues of identity, culture, and community.
